Habibie Institute for Public Policy and Governance has various program areas with respective focuses on Public Policy, Governance, Public Finance, and Public Administration Reform which are divided as follows:
Laboratory of Policy Innovation
Policy innovation labs are the heart of what we do, in response to the growing demand for public sector innovation and the development of policies addressing complex issues.
Policy RESEARCH
Policy research is conducted with relevant laws and regulations on various wide development sectors such as Health, Education, Economics, Environment, Forestry, Agriculture, Marine and Fishery, Energy, Infrastructure, Disasters.
Policy Advocacy
The advocacy team conducts policy meetings and dialogues with relevant government agencies/institutions on laws and regulations
The work includes and is not limited to drafting, issued law/regulations, and amendments. The Advocacy team releases policy brief and recommendations to push forward for a better policy which is covering diverse sectors.
CLINICS OF Policy INNOVATION
We also provide clinics of policy innovation for capacity building at the provincial level and districts level related to the various range of development issues
EDUCATION AND CULTURE
Education and culture aim for stakeholders, and heads of village with education package program.
TRAINING
We provide and conduct training to improve skills and knowledge depending on diverse sectors of development. The theme of training related to the governance and leadership at the village level, districts, and provincial level for those who might need it.
KNOWLEDGE REPOSITORY
Habibie Institute for Public Policy and Governance is also developing a knowledge repository. The repository was built for the purpose of disseminating information from various main HIPPG program activities through evidence-based and innovative policies that can be accessed widely and openly by individuals, communities, central and local governments.
